The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 1454 property sales through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) for the month of April. RAHB also reported a 9.6 per cent increase in average sale price for the month compared to April of last year.

Burlington's History... The Burlington Town Bell

In 1894, Burlington Council ordered a town bell to be used to summon volunteer firemen. It was mounted on a tower over the town hall. Later, it also tolled the hour at 7 am, noon, 1pm and 6pm. The tempo of its ringing was increased for a fire call to avoid confusion between High Noon and a barn blaze on Maple Avenue. The first official town bell-ringing received $50 per year to swing its clapper!
